Looking for Home Automation – techincal Lead – Control4 at Muscat Full Time

Minimum Requirements:

At least 5-6 years of installation/programming experience with the Home automation systems (Control4, KNX, SAVANT, Lutron, ELAN)

Advanced knowledge of residential construction including: Framing/Structure, Low Voltage, Electrical, and HVAC

Intimate knowledge of the following electronic components: Home Theater, Home Automation, Distributed Audio/Video Surveillance Systems, Phone Systems, Intercom Systems and Data networks.

Advanced experience with all aspects of Residential Data Networks including: the difference between Fiber, and Cable, how to setup whole-house wireless networks, all the possible ways to stream content, trouble-shooting networked components, etc.

Lead the technical team with all the project execution

Have full technical knowledge of all products that the company has to offer.

Meet potential customers and understated customer requirements to setup BOQ.

Setup Design, costing estimation as well as Proposals for Clients.

Establish effective communication with customers.

Setup project plan and execution plan (cable design, routing and termination)

Follow up on all Project progress

Ownership of the project execution.

Lead Project material and work planning

Assure projects are completed withing budget and assigned time.

Systems programming of all brands offered to the clients

Conduct end customer training.

Diagnose customer communication and network problems.

Recommend solutions and improvement methods for installation procedures.

After Sales customer technical support.

Maintain technical knowledge and skills that involve architecture, network design, troubleshooting.

Train technical; staff on cabling dressing skills, Network setup, simple programming, simple trouble shooting

Recommend correct measures of network addressing systems, layouts and configuration devices.
