Job Discription
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Office Cleaner to ensure our office premises are maintained in a clean and orderly condition. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be capable of completing tasks efficiently. This position entails keeping our office area tidy, sanitized, and presentable for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
– Clean and sanitize all areas of the office including floors, desks, windows, washrooms, and kitchen
– Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors regularly
– Empty trash bins and replace garbage bags as needed
– Clean and restock restroom facilities regularly throughout the day
– Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure their cleanliness and shine
– Remove smudges, fingerprints, and stains from office furniture and fixtures
– Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and available for use
– Follow proper waste management procedures
– Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
– Cooperate with office staff to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
– Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Candidate Requirement
Requirements:
– Proven experience as an office cleaner or in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
– Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
– Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
– Time-management and organizational skills
– Good communication skills to interact with employees and supervisors effectively
– Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and stoop as necessary
– Ability to prioritize tasks and follow cleaning schedules
– High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Working conditions:
– This role requires the candidate to perform physical tasks, including regular bending, lifting, and standing.
– The office cleaner may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, but the employer will provide all necessary protective equipment and ensure training on using them safely.
