1. Supervises for the following-up and reporting function of all projects under the umbrella of the entity.
2. Recommends on the project proposal based on review of the project objectives, cost estimates, impact and the alignment with the organization’s strategy.
3. Accountable for the development of a clear and concise project implementation/ work plan that facilitates in reviewing the progress of the projects.
4. Ensures effective mechanisms are in place to study projects and gather estimates on project requirements, costing and completion.
5. Oversees the development of the project schedules, identification of implementation activities and targets and the resource requirement for each project stage.
6. Facilitates the management in the project approval process by ensuring all project proposals are studied and measured against established parameters of success and impact.
7. Supervises on daily bases activities and duties within the assigned areas and coordinates and reports to the concerned management.
8. Addresses problems with work quality, issues between employees and other concerns in an effective, timely manner.
9. Supervises the development/ maintenance and upkeep of all unit manuals, policies and records.
10. Serves as link between subordinates and upper management.
11. Conducts performance reviews, motivate team members and create strategies to boost productivity.
12. Provides daily supervision and oversight of unit staff and activities, ensuring the delivery of effective and quality services.
13. Evaluates and supervises the performance and professional development of subordinates according to the performance appraisal policy and initiate corrective action plans as necessary.
14. Supports the management in the effective coordination, implementation, monitoring and review of processes, protocols and standards related to departmental functions.
15. Supplies and guides teams with the tools and expertise necessary for successful operation.
16. Develops strong and effective relationships with staff. Investigates and responds expeditiously to written and verbal inquiries and issues as they arise.
17. Participates in KSUMC planning and development programs as required.
18. Evaluates staff performance and submit analysis reports about work-load and accomplishments.
19. Organizes and provides education and training activities for unit staff as required.
20. Establishes related Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for evaluation and development of the unit.
21. Performs administrative activities such as supervision of weekly reports, handling inquiries, preparation of monthly work schedule for staff, tracking work order requests, etc.
22. Actively addresses employee and work-related issues and problems, guides section supervisors’ performance and concerns.
23. Writes an official delegation of all responsibilities and assignments prior to leave / vacation.
24. Performs other job related duties as assigned as per to the policy within the entity assigned.
