Financial Controller

Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible in the preparation and analysis of financial information and financial reports both in EXCEL and/or SAP on monthly basis or at ad-hoc basis. The candidate must assist the Finance & Admin Director in overseeing all aspects of the management of financial activities, practices, including budget preparation, financial reports, and audit functions of the Company.
Key Responsibilities :-
o Perform SAPHIR Reporting requirements as per Group guidelines
o Perform financial reports to regional office in Dubai and HO in France as per guidelines
o Review, analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements
o Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors
o Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting
o Implement a robust contracts management and financial management reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
o Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the Finance Department’s overall policy and procedure manual
o Assist in preparation and provide professional insights into the preparation of Business Plans
o Develop, maintain & analyze budgets & forecasts, profit & loss statements
o Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records and information
o Prepare periodic accounting or financial reports in Excel
o Prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet
o Prepare and update weekly & monthly sales reports
o Examine all GL entries/posting in SAP (AR, AP, cash/bank entries)
o Examine inventory movement in the inventory system (Excel based) and manage fixed-assets register including project management
o Manage Anaplan system to reflect the contracts are recorded in line with IFRS.
o Evaluate contracts and report qualifying contracts in tax portal
o Assist the Finance & Admin Director in monthly closing activity to ensure closing on a timely basis
o Proactively follow changes in laws and accounting standards
o Maintain confidentiality of information at all times
o Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Minimum Job Requirements:-
o 8+ years of overall combined accounting, finance, and audit experience
o Advanced degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred
o Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
o Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
o Knowledge of accounting and reporting systems (preferably SAP)
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Excellent analytical skills and attention to details and accuracy
o Excellent leadership skills
