J&C Joel supply, manufacture, and install, a range of products into the entertainment and events industry. The core of its business is flame retardant fabrics, and manufacturing high-end technical and decorative drapery. Over the last 15 years J&C Joel has hugely grown and developed its stage engineering solutions through its Project’s department, which installs a wide range of systems, ranging from basic curtain tracks and drapery, through to high performance motorised rigging and stage engineering, with sophisticated automation controls.

ROLE PURPOSE:
The International Logistics Coordinator is a key role in the Middle East office, Dubai. They will co-ordinate both Vietnam and Middle East offices in regards end to end logistics and work with the Logistics Manager in the UK to fully inform them on successes, challenges and change implementation. The successful candidate will work on a suite of KPIs for inclusion in the monthly board meeting. This will be presented by the Operations Director and issued to all senior managers
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
Logistics
· The successful candidate will be responsible for all Dubai and Vietnam imports and exports including all necessary paperwork is in place to ensure lead times and deadlines are met.
· Candidate should have knowledge and the ability to compile all documents for FTA and MOFAIC.
· The ability to work within ERP systems, with a view to developing processes, identifying gaps and working with key stakeholders to strive for better efficiencies and reduce costs to the business. An example of this would be the introduction of auto document management in the Middle East office.
· Co-ordination with local and international shipping agents, alongside both UK and Vietnam. Clear communications skills are a must.
· Implementation and maintenance of delivery tracker for all POs so that the wider business can view when purchase orders relevant to them are due to arrive.
· Responsibility for tracking the costs of logistics, in terms of what has been budgeted
· Clear communication with the sales and project team on any shipment delays that may impact our customers.
· Ensuring that all laws and regulations are being adhered to and met
· Attending weekly logistics meetings and working closely with Head office in UK to ensure KPIs are being met.
· Working to Letters of Credit when needed.
· Implementation and maintenance of KPIs.
Purchasing
· Ownership of stock orders, with a view to avoiding stock shortages.
· Speaking with suppliers and working with UK purchasing, to ensure that delivery schedules are met.
· Working with the international sales team, to ensure that we are preempting possible orders to avoid stock shortages.
· Maintaining and upkeep of key reports for ME and Vietnam hubs.
· Candidate is required to implement and maintain KPIs
Stocking/Warehouse
· Responsible for booking in stock and analysis of landed costs in system.
· Working with warehouse on serialisation and storage location coordination.
· Coordinate with warehouse team on stock management and locations.
· Issuing and analysing system Cycle Counts.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
· A minimum of 5 years of logistics and operations experience.
· Purchasing experience.
· Stock control an cycle count experience.
· Excellent organisational and communicational skills.
· A high level of logistics knowledge especially around documentation and clearance.
· Ability to work well under pressure and be self-motivated.
· The desire to learn and improve processes and efficiencies.
· A good understanding of Microsoft Excel
Desirable:
· Knowledge of Access Supply Chain.
· Knowledge of MRP systems.
