Due to a significant increase in the number of employees commencing their journey with us in our region, as part of the finance team you will help Jacobs deliver its strategy across multiple markets and shape the surrounding nations with some of the world’s most ambitious and iconic projects
As part of our accounting team, working closely with the Corporate Controller for the Middle East region, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of bank statement reconciliation, monthly profit and loss, and fringe variance analysis. You will be involved in preparing monthly value added tax and withholding tax return payments, filing prior to due date. You will take part in coordinating audit query responses to consultant or tax authorities on audit tasks and statutory filings.
Your support will range from contract review, reporting and uploading on tax authority portals and ensuring E-invoice and vendor invoice review coding for withholding and value added tax compliance.
As a successful candidate, you must hold a professional degree in Accountancy or equivalent, preferably Certified Public Accountant or Certified Accountant. You will come with excellent experience in Oracle financials, Human Resource Information Systems, Microsoft office and advance excel, as well as familiarization with Tax and Audit, financial statements preparation and reconciliation. This opportunity will suit someone who has already started their career in accounting and has worked in a large corporate firm.
