As a Junior IT Support, you’ll be the main point of contact install and configure POS systems, and application problems, either over the phone or in person and ability to work on call-support to ensure 24/7 smooth operation of IT System.

Responsibilities

This role mainly to install and support POS systems on site with user training.

• Keep POS systems running smoothly and ensure maximum uptime for the entire clients.

• Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.

• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.

• follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.

• Support the roll-out of new updates * Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.

• Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).

• Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time.

• Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Strong aptitude, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.

• Quick learner with a great attitude.

• Ability to stay current with new technology.

• Willing to learn new tools and techniques.

• Fundamental programming skill is preferred.

Experience:

• IT Support: 0-3 years (Preferred).

• OS knowledge –Windows.

• Training –Providing software POS training to end users.
