KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests
• Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
• Sort, code and match invoices
• Set invoices up for payment
• Enter and upload invoices into system
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Prepare analysis of accounts
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information

Background, Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Accounts Payable domain
• Experience of working on SAP (Finance modules)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, i.e., Excel, Word, etc., and other web-based and/or tech applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks to meet competing deadlines
• Ability to work well in a team setting and independently
• Innovative problem-solver who can provide solutions and resolve complaints
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration or related field
• Fluent in English; written and oral
• Knowledge of Arabic language (read, write, and speak)
