Job Description
Our Fire Alarm Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings. This individual will work closely with our clients and colleagues to ensure that all fire alarm systems are functioning properly and comply with local and national regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems and a passion for ensuring the safety and security of others.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and test fire alarm systems according to manufacturer specs and local/national fire codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems, and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed, including system status reports and maintenance logs.
- Continuously stay updated on the latest advancements, industry standards, and best practices for fire alarm systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Thorough knowledge of local and national fire codes and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency situations.
