Your day to day
As a storekeeper, you will mainly handle beverage & dry stores according to hotel policy. Please also see the below key responsibilities as a storekeeper. • Maintain the stock level. Place the order according to the outlet’s requirement. • Receive the items according to LPO. Properly arrange items in store and issue approved items between outlets. • Post all the transfers and keep a record in the file. • Focus on fast-moving & slow-moving items and report accordingly. • Check the expiry date/ temperature and condition of products. And ensure to follow the first in first out policy. • Always ensure that the stocks are available. • Conduct internal inventory of beverage store. • Support purchasing operation if it is required.
What we need from you
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow: • Experience of a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel is required • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate • Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems • Ability to help develop problem-solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate • Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for the team to fulfill responsibilities • Detail oriented and organized • Ability to develop presentations and effectively present to all levels of company, hotels & owners. • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required
