We are currently recruiting for a full time Receiving Officer/Storekeeper to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.
Your day to day
As a Receiving Officer/Store Keeper, you are responsible to receive, inspect, records and in checking the contents to ensure they match the orders and your role will include key responsibilities such as: Receiving Officer • To ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them properly • Collaborate with procurement team to list expected deliveries • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.) • Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place • Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control Store Keeper • Ensuring the store is kept clean and organized • Issuing beverage accordingly with the approved requisition • Ensuring all beverages has proper labeling and well arranged in the store • Re ordering the beverage items and coordinating with F&B Team accordingly on their new order, slow moving including short expiry items • Able to do monthly inventory on beverages promptly
What we need from you
Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in the similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in related software preferable.
