The role purpose is to supervise all IOCD and Scanning related functions within Banking Services, in line with Service Level Agreements and Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations. Below are the core tasks, and is not limited to same. The job holder is also expected to multi-task where necessary, within the team.

In this role, you will:

• Receiving various Bank transactional documents from departments & branches and ensuring all documents are scanned into the correct respective work queues within the agreed timelines as per the agreed SLA with the Business.
• Conducting checks to ensure the images are clear, post scanning of the document.
• Performing checks for all Payments related docs scanned on GWIS & managing the daily EOD reconciliation/balancing.
• Checking the End of day reconciliation reports of the Scanning Associates on a daily basis to ensure all documents are uploaded successfully on GWIS and I-Queue systems. Escalating to the Line Manager, if any issue is identified.
• Handing over the documents to the concerned departments EOD for their records/safe keeping.
• Receiving voucher bundles from branches, ensuring these are scanned on a daily basis and indexed on the GWIS Archives System.
• Ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.
• Ensuring timely submission of the monthly scanning volumes which forms part of the Regional MI.
• Actively identify and realize quality and timeliness improvements through automation, streamlining, elimination and standardization to deliver cost efficient, high quality and scalable services to business partners.
• Supporting the Manager Operations for ensuring effective controls are in place to manage operational, regulatory, information security, contingency and fraud risk.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum Educational Qualification of a Bachelor Degree in finance, accountancy, business management
• Minimum College Degree or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an added advantage)
• MS office applications – Intermediate level.
• Good presentation skills.
