This role will combine data, analytics, and application architect skills with strong business knowledge to solve business problems by understanding, preparing, and analyzing data to understand opportunities for technology adoption within the client?s application portfolio and provides recommendations to optimize business results.The Pre-Sales Coloud Architect shall:Work with business leaders to solve business problems through the adoption of technology, building an IT Modernization Roadmap to the futureThe role will work on pre-sales, solution, and project assignments to design, deliver and assure technical solutions. Develop solutions by understanding, preparing, and analyzing data to understand opportunities for technology adoption within the client?s application portfolio and provides recommendations to optimize business resultsUtilize consulting assets to collect application portfolio data and create insights to define transformation paths for their application portfolio. The methods used will continuously update the data on the application portfolio as well as the client priorities and strategies used in the modeling used to create the IT Modernization Roadmap.Analyse and assess existing client application portfolios; shape and deliver appropriate modernization pattern-based solutions including the creation of client modernization roadmapsStrong analytical skills and an ability to define and articulate the precise nature of any given situation appropriately to the target audience whether technical or non-technical.ÿ Modernize enterprise business applications to use Containers, Container Orchestration Platforms, Micro-Services, and DevOpsUnderstand the technical risks associated with each aspect of the service and/or project and ensure these are mitigated in the designLiaise with 3rd Party suppliers and other partners when and where required to meet customer requirements.Capture requirements from multiple stakeholders (business, IT support areas, legal) and interact with other cross-functional teams to provide migration strategy: architect, design, develop, test, and release planningIn this role, the candidate will demonstrate:Technical focus and driveVision and innovationCommercial awarenessAccountability and responsibilityHigh quality documentation and communication skillsFlexibility, responsiveness, and ability to work to specific deadlinesCreate a monthly/quarterly written local/regional sales report to be supplied to the Chief Commercial Officer that summarizes the sales activities, upcoming opportunities and key projects captured during the quarterEstablish and manage regional sales budgetBe responsible for monthly sales forecastsAssist with proposal writingMaintain communications with clients to ensure the clients expectations are being met, relay results and additional requirements to the appropriate operations managerManage sales opportunities electronic data base. Update all client contacts and client related information in master contacts system
