We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Groups Conference and Events Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue through the booking of group conferences and events at our hotel. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, a proactive approach to generating leads, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
As Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Executive, you will maximize revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. The GCandE Sales Executive will interact frequently with Guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, a Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Executive will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
.Negotiation Skills: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure bookings and maximize revenue. Ensure that pricing and terms are competitive while meeting the hotel’s profitability goals.
.Converting Business: Convert leads into confirmed bookings by effectively communicating the value proposition of hosting events at our hotel. Provide personalized service and assistance to clients throughout the booking process.
.Event Coordination: Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of conferences and events. Communicate client requirements and preferences to the appropriate departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
.Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demand to identify new business opportunities. Utilize market insights to develop targeted sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
.Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and expand the hotel’s network.

.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software: Delphi, Onq
.Flexibility to attend events and meetings outside of regular business hours.
.Qualifications:
.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
.Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the hospitality industry.
