Executive MBA Manager (Student Experience and Recruitment) Faculty Of Management, Law, And Social Sciences Dubai Hub UAE and Person Specification 2 Job Title: Executive MBA Manager (Student Experience and Recruitment) Grade: Vacancy Reference: Faculty / Directorate: Faculty of Management, Law and Social Sciences Service / Department: School of Management Location: Dubai, UAE Reports to: Deputy Head of School of Management Responsible for: Main Purpose ? The post holder will lead the growth and strategic development of the Dubai Executive MBA and support with the student experience and programme management activities. ? Candidates should demonstrate excellence in, and passion and enthusiasm for programme management at the postgraduate level in business. ? The post holder will lead and develop a recruitment strategy for the Dubai Executive MBA to increase student numbers and contribute to course enhancement strategies ? To manage the operational delivery of the programme and oversee internal and external resources required for its successful delivery, in consultation with the MBA Director. Main Duties and Responsibilities 1. Developing and implementing the recruitment strategy for the Executive MBA in Dubai, demonstrating an awareness of competitors activities. 2. Preparing and managing recruitment budgets for this programme. 3. Leading the development of a clear promotional plan for the Dubai Executive MBA with strategic corporate partners in order to create a pipeline of interest and applicants. 4. Identifiying, establishing and nurturing relationships with external organisations and corporate employers in order to create a pipeline of applicants for the Dubai Executive MBA. 5. Leading the organisation of relevant recruitment events, such as open evenings and breakfast briefings with potential students and employers, in addition to visiting 3 employers, both in the Dubai and the UAE more broadly, in order to support recruitment activities on the programme. 6. Evaluating the effectiveness of recruitment strategies based on event feedback and recruitment KPIs such as enrolment numbers and conversion rates and revising strategy accordingly. 7. Monitoring market trends in executive education in the UAE and other target regions, and providing advice and guidance to relevant School/Faculty/University teams in order to support their work in increasing recruitment. 8. Providing advice to prospective students, sponsors and other stakeholders on the range of executive education courses offered by the School of Management. 9. Interviewing applicants for the Dubai Executive MBA programme. 10.Working with the Business Engagement Team at the Faculty of Management, Law and Social Sciences, and University Marketing and Communications teams to capitalise on existing relationships and networks to promote student recruitment to the Dubai Executive MBA. 11.To develop an event strategy and corresponding schedule of corporate activities to enhance student experience (e.g. networking events, guest speakers, industry visits). 12.Leading on compliance with accreditation body criteria and annual reporting cycles (i.e. AMBA, KHDA) for the Dubai MBA programme 13.Developing a strong working relationship with relevant governmental bodies in the UAE (ie KHDA, CAA). 14.To develop a strategy to ensure effective communication between students, faculty and stakeholders on quality assurance issues, acting as a first point of contact for Dubai students on such matters. 15.Overseeing arrangements for induction and related materials. 16.To be the chief liaison for the programme, managing the relationship between Executive MBA students in Dubai and both academic and professional services staff based in the UK. 17.To reinforce feedback mechanisms with participating students, contributors and collaborators, monitoring their satisfaction, and responding quickly to challenges 18.Providing guidance to the MBA programme delivery team to ensure planning, timetabling and documentation is appropriate, culturally sensitive and professional. 19.Any other such duties, associated with recruitment, marketing and programme management of the Dubai Executive MBA as appropriate to the role and the grade of the post as requested by the School of Management.
