Job Title: Cloud Security SME
Location: Bahrain
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security SME to join a growing team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in cloud security (Specifically AWS) and have a deep understanding of the latest technologies and best practices in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cloud security strategies to protect our organization’s data and systems.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud security architecture and design.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of our cloud environment.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud security solutions to meet the organization’s security needs.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security threats and trends.
- Assist with the migration from on-premise into the cloud
- Lead incident response and investigations related to cloud security incidents.
- Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure that security is integrated into the software development life cycle.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions for the organization’s employees on cloud security best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, data encryption, network security, and threat intelligence.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or a related certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
