GHD Looking for Fire & Life Safety Engineer at Doha, Qatar Full Time

Working closely with both the Architectural and MEP teams, the Middle East office is looking for a Fire & Life Safety Engineer with HVAC engineering experience to grow the Doha design services team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Design and consult on Building/Fire Code & Standards and Life Safety in different type of buildings and facilities. Identify various hazards, mitigation techniques and recommended solutions, materials and equipment on Fire and Life Safety Consulting. Knowledge of National Building and Fire Codes and Standards. An ability to understand current mechanical engineering technologies in design and delivery of large institutional, residential, retail, commercial and educational developments. A proven track record of delivering large-scale multidisciplinary sustainable building designs from within an engineering consultancy. Ability to work independently and proactively collaborate on project delivery. What you will bring to the team: Degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a consultancy. Experience in preparation of CFD and HVAC design calculations and drawings. Experience in using current technology analysis software for heat load calculations and energy modeling. Experience of preparing authority submission documentations and dealing directly with the local authorities in Qatar.
