Job Description Summary
The Pre Sales Solution Consultant will establish a trusted advisor relationship with our external customers, prospects and our internal technical teams at GE Digital Grid. The primary focus of the role is to drive sales within the Middle East & North Africa (MENAT) region, and more specifically within Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. You will actively collaborate with internal software development teams, global pre-sales organisations and commercial operations and sales teams.
The Pre Sales Solution Consultant will have significant control/influence over commercial priorities. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
.A trusted technical advisor on the Commercial Sales Team. Aligns solution capabilities to specific outcomes, creates reference architectures, and helps to calculate potential solution value.
.Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and use advanced communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
.Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how your own area integrates with others has a working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
.Develop technical product expertise with respect toGE Digital, GridSolutions and enterprise integration within the transmission and distribution utility ecosystem within the region.
.Lead and influence technical workshops with clients – develop and deliver content to guide the client through the solution, technical, and product feature options.
.Work with Product Management and Engineering to perform a feature gap analysis between our existing product and client requirements to find and fill feature gaps
.Vigorously present the GE Digital Grid technology platforms in appropriate sales forums to drive demand and continued interest, with software presentations & demonstrations
.Support the significant regional strategic initiatives across broad scope/platform(s) in liaison with key stakeholders.
.Manage the products in the virtual regional demonstration suite
.Represent GE Digital, Grid Software at regional conferences, trade shows & exhibitions
.Travel may be required up to50%
Required Qualifications

• This role requires significant experience in the Sales & Digital Solution Architecture for the primary product lines for Saudi Arabia. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Working knowledge of at least one of the GE Digital Grid (or from one of the primary competitors) product lines and build knowledge of the other offerings AEMS, ADMS, WAMS & Grid Analytics Product Lines.
