About the job Finance Manager & Board Secretary (For Qatarization – Expat NOT Required)
- Lead and manage the accounting department.
- Develop and implement all accounting, treasury, AP and AR practices, to ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, agreements, laws and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial and management reports in support of auditing, managerial decision making and shareholders communication.
- Work closely with the Chair of the Board and the CEO
- Responsible for drafting resolutions, minutes of meetings and assuring compliance with corporate governance.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
- Preferably with professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong track-record in the preparation of financial records and reports for a large, multi-national organisation with a complex ownership structure
- 12 + years of experience of which 7+ years are management roles.
- Experience in Energy, Oil and Gas industry would be preferred.
