The person must have a strong acumen in the printing and packaging industry.
– A solid understanding of designing for a variety of projects such as branding, print and digital advertising, marketing collateral, packaging, infographics, brochures, catalogues, landing pages, etc.
– The person must have a good understanding and knowledge of key lines. He must handle keylines for all packaging collaterals with out-of-the-box designs.
– Maintain brand standards, follow style guides, and match design styles set by other designers on the project
– Analyze files provided by clients or in-house design teams and assess suitability for printing, checking and double-checking critical aspects of images and text.
– Troubleshoot and fix file issues, including alignment, colour, exposure, clarity, grain and other image and typography problems, as well as manipulating for bleed and binding
– Knowledge of design, colour theory (CMYK / Spot / Special Effects) and typography
– Checking page proofs to ensure that they meet specifications such as font style and size, margins, line spacing, bleeds, alignment, and resolution.
– Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout
– He must possess detailed knowledge about various platforms of printing such as Digital, offset, silk screen, Flexo etc.
– Ability to mock up graphics and print collateral for presentation purposes.
Ability to commute/relocate:
– Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
– Bachelor’s (preferred)
**Experience**:
– Designing in Printing and Packaging Industry: 3 years (preferred)
