You as a Controlling and Planning Front Office Analyst (Open) will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. You will be performing controlling analytical tasks and activities within one or multiple process Areas within own CCC. Activities can be performed with no, limited or direct supervision.Your ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) – Overall accountability for the analytical services to the business, based on customer requirements. Re-sponsible for automated tools/reports design, implementation, and maintenance. Semi- automated and manual analytical services, and one-off (ad-hoc) analytical outputReporting and Legal entity controlling – legal and non-legal entity controlling, governance and assurance. Cost control and allocation models.Systems and Master Data Governance – charts of account, Business Warehouse tools.Functional Controlling – controlling, budgeting, cost control, charging mechanisms, tax compliance and Business Partnering within respective Function.Special Projects within the controlling areaParticipate in benchmarking of processes, tools, and solutions in order to further optimize and standardize controlling activities.Optimizes own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.Ensures processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.BackgroundBachelor’s / master’s degree in finance and accounting or business administrationProfessionally qualified (CA/CIMA/CMA/CPA) would be preferred.Up to 4 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Controlling.Robust process understanding of the content and technical (IT) perspective.Very good understanding of Hitachi Energy Business set-up and interconnectionsAbility to interact with Process stakeholders at various levels.Good communication skills and interpersonal skills at all levels both internally and externallyGood problem solving; analytical skills; ability to prioritize tasks.Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives; focus on details.Detail oriented, highly structured.Proficient MS Office and IT systems like ERP, C&P tools, and integrated solutionsUnderstanding of end-to-end process and data flows across organization at business and finance side of Hitachi Energy.Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
