Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the companys needsIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationshipsMonitor inventory levels and ensure that materials are ordered in a timely mannerCoordinate with internal departments to determine their procurement needs and specificationsManage the procurement process from start to finish, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues that may ariseEnsure that all purchases are made in compliance with company policies and proceduresMaintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and delivery documentsMonitor market trends and changes in supplier pricing to ensure the company is getting the best value for its moneyIdentify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement functionStay up to date on industry best practices and new developments in procurementPreferred Candidate:Bachelors degree in business administration or a related fieldProven experience in procurement or supply chain managementStrong negotiation and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAttention to detail and a high level of accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant softwareKnowledge of procurement regulations and best practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skills
