Key AccountabilitiesSupervision of Subordinates?ÿÿÿOrganise and supervise the activities and work of the Life Insurance telesales unit to ensure that all work within this area is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policies?ÿÿÿProvide on-the-job training, coaching and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall developmentÿProduct Strategy?ÿÿÿProvide regular feedback on issues faced by the Life Insurance Tele Sales unit to support the Life Insurance product and sales strategy to support the delivery of underlying team objectivesÿSales monitoring?ÿÿÿMonitor sales performance regularly versus the budget of the life insurance telesales team, in order to ensure meeting the set budgets?ÿÿÿEnsure that all sales activities are conducted within the controls and quality standards set by CB guidelines and compliant with QCB regulationsCross sell of bancassurance products?ÿÿÿPlan and drive cross sell of life insurance products through the Telesales team, targeting to meet assigned product penetration ratesReporting and Operational Needs Assessment?ÿÿÿProvide and analyse periodic and / or ad hoc reports in order to provide insights and clarity of life insurance products current activities and performanceTraining and Certification?ÿÿÿResponsible for ensuring the Life Insurance tele sales team complete required product and bank training courses in a timely nature in accordance with the QCB provisionsÿPolicies, Systems, Processes and Procedures?ÿÿÿEnsure that functional procedures and controls covering a specific area of activity are conducted in compliance with risk, audit, and regulatory requirementsÿMIS and Reports?ÿÿÿPrepare departmental and regulatory MIS statements and reports timely and accurately to meet CB and QCB reporting requirements, policies and standardsRelated Assignments?ÿÿÿPerform other related duties or assignments as directed
