We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Kitchen Steward to join our team. The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our culinary team to work efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, such as stoves, ovens, grills, and countertops.
Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Assist with food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
Stock and replenish supplies in the kitchen and dishwashing areas.
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements:
Prior experience working in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
