A company is looking to hire a food importer with at least 7 years of experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in importing frozen chicken, meat, dried milk, and other food products.
- Research and identify potential suppliers of meat and food products
- Negotiate prices and terms of purchase with suppliers
- Manage the import process, including obtaining necessary permits and licenses
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure the timely and safe shipment of meat and food products
- Monitor the quality of meat and food products during transportation and storage
- Ensure that meat and food products meet all applicable regulations and requirements
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all import transactions
- Stay up-to-date on international trade regulations and industry trends

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in meat and food import
- Solid understanding of international trade regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
