Description:
The role holder is responsible for optimizing sales through strategic accounts, with main focus on e-commerce accounts, by using marketing and product initiatives, building strategic buying plans, and setting action plans against data analysis.
Responsibilities
Focuses on growing and developing existing key clients, together with generating new business; Conducts monthly and seasonal business reviews with key accounts
Creates buying plans to ensure profitability by maintaining and building consumer focused brand/category lines and managing SKU performance
Managing clients’ e-commerce accounts to deliver world class growth by planning & executing all sales levers – products, promotions, content creation, relevancy, etc.
Work closely with the marketing department to roll marketing activities for ecommerce customers, track competitors and stay abreast of sales comparison data
Strategize online marketing vehicles for accounts alongside the marketing department
Conduct regular sales and activity analysis of ecommerce accounts to determine performance of customer portfolio and identify areas for improvement
Oversees and manages placement of orders based on the buying plans and ensures merchandise is delivered as per the plan
Determines financial goals including pre-season financial plans, in-season projections and open-to-buy building and management
Analyses the existing stock levels and liaises with the concerned departments for timely roll out of promotional campaigns to maintain the warehouse inventory holding norms as well to achieve targeted sales
Maintains steady sales growth and healthy inventory levels and regular replenishment program for the accounts
Creates effective and long-lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders
Works with brand/category function to develop accurate and realistic go-to-market plans, seasonal assortments, forecasts and scenario plans
Promotes high-quality customer experience and satisfaction by ensuring exceptional services provided to customers at all times
Generates and maintains sales forecasts for the accounts and provides this information in an accurate and timely manner; Assists to drive business sales strategy and deliver against sales and profitability targets
Collects, analyzes and reports feedback from accounts to identify customer requirements and pass on the business intelligence for effective decision making
Acts as a focal point of contact between the Business Unit and the assigned accounts to ensure that any major issues are addressed in a timely manner
Ensures all day to day requests are addressed, and timely and quality resolution is provided for all queries
Implements category display and enhances distribution coverage and product visibility by ensuring right product is available in the right place and at the right time
Prepares, plans and delivers clear and persuasive sales line presentations
Owns and manages sell-in meeting to ensure healthy buys and sustainable growth
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business
A minimum of 6 – 8 years of relevant experience in Sales or Account Management, Buying and Merchandising, and ecommerce
Previous experience in Sports Retail industry, consumer goods, fashion, or ecommerce
