Job Description
Urgent requirement for a Tax Audit Lead (Foreign Reporting) to be based in Dubai on a 1-year contract for a major Financial Institution. As the Tax Audit Lead (Foreign Reporting), you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with international tax reporting standards and fulfilling information exchange obligations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Information Exchange Mechanisms: Implement the necessary mechanisms and data collection processes to fulfill the state’s obligations regarding information exchange with foreign tax authorities.
Obligations Listing: Maintain a comprehensive list of all information exchange obligations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to international standards and agreements.
External Reporting: Prepare external reports containing the required information to be shared with competent authorities in accordance with international agreements and regulations.
Compliance Oversight: Monitor and ensure compliance with international tax reporting requirements and standards, making adjustments as necessary to meet changing regulations.
Data Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and management of data related to foreign reporting, ensuring security and accuracy.
Audit and Verification: Conduct audits and verifications of the information exchange process to confirm the accuracy and completeness of submitted data.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all processes, procedures, and reports related to foreign reporting obligations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in tax auditing, foreign reporting, or a related area.
Strong knowledge of international tax reporting standards and information exchange agreements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive tax information.
