Job Description
Read drawings and understand fabrication process and sequence.Cutting & weld bevel edge preparation of steel plates, beams, and piping using cutting torches and other equipment.Fit-up /assembly of mast and substructure & accessories, pressure vessels and piping.Withdraw suitable welding consumables from stores for tack welding. Should be able to weld using SMAW and MIG welding.Safe handling of cutting/welding gases and tools/grinders.Grinding and cleaning/Dress up of the work pieces & weldsCapable to use various measuring tools like Tapes, fabrication tools and weld gauges etc.Shall have experience with handling overhead cranes, forklifts etc. Clean workplace and safe handling of materials.Maintain safety regulations and obey company safety rules.Performs other duties as assigned.
