POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will be based in the Middle East and North Africa region and will be an integral member of the Advising and Testing team based at Amideast Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The incumbent will support the online and paper test administrations that take place virtually or in computer labs and offices throughout the Middle East and North Africa region under the auspices of Amideast, ensuring the integrity of all testing programs. The incumbent will have excellent technical and problem-solving skills. The incumbent will coordinate his or her work schedule with and report to the Director of Advising and Testing based at Amideast Headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a certified test center administrator for virtual and online testing
Read and understand all client test administration manuals and other documentation and be able to convey this information to others
Review requests for test administrations
Schedule and set up tests through the appropriate platforms and services
Ensure that all test administrations are scheduled in the most cost-effective manner
Review proctoring requirements for each administration
Ensure that the organization’s pool of trained and certified test center administrators and remote proctors has a sufficient number of individuals to meet testing demand
Assign proctors from existing proctor pool
Send test admission information to test candidates
Monitor test sessions
Serve as technical support for each digital/online test session held in the region
Provide score rosters/reports for clients
Prepare reports about test irregularities and associated test security issues in a detailed and timely manner
Provide statistical reports as requested
Participate in all test center trainings and meetings
Adhere to test form management procedures
Ensure the integrity and professional character of Amideast testing programs
Respond to inquiries from testing candidates and organizations
Participate in regular and ad hoc meetings with the Senior Director of Advising and Testing and other members of the Testing Department at Amideast Headquarters, as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Required
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Advanced skills in Excel
Detail oriented
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic; French desired
A valid TOEIC score of a minimum of 900 or above and a Pipplet score in Arabic and English representing a CEFR level of C1 or above
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Flexibility in working hours/schedule to accommodate test administrations crossing multiple time zones, weekdays, and weekends
Demonstrated experience with and ability to understand and use program platform software and hardware requirements, and convey such information to clients
Demonstrated ability to handle issues in a discrete and confidential manner
Experience with MS Word Mail Merge, MailChimp, SignUp Genius or similar

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office (temporarily due to COVID-19).
