Large Medical Group In Qatar Looking For COO : Job Duties * Overseas operations, cost management and process improvement while developing a strong operating model that best supports the organization’s goals and objectives.
Provides input into strategy planning based on learning from day to day operations.
* Establishes Medical Center Branches policies and procedures congruent with the mission and the hospital’s strategic plans, operating goals, and objectives. Monitors the utilization and application of policies and procedures in order to ensure that quality health care services are provided to the community.
Establishes and monitors programs and policies to strengthen organizations relationship with our physician customers.
* Oversees Medical Center Branches administrative meetings and committees and promotes innovation, strategic plans, and policy revisions in an effort to improve the Medical Centers provision of quality services.
Represents the Medical Centers with professional and civic service organizations and strives to promote the mission and image of the Medical Center Branches.
* Directs the development of the overall Centers budget, provides prudent and efficient budget proposals to the CEO, and assists in presenting budget proposals to the Board of Directors and Board Committees.
Conducts periodic reviews of the Branches financial performance and recommends appropriate responsive action.
* Prepares and presents formal reports to the CEO and Board of Directors that detail corporate activities and potential health care service programs based on an analysis of market conditions, health care trends, corporate performance, and community standards of care. * Results-proven track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation. * Evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis,
wisdom, experience, and judgment.
* High level of business acumen and understanding of budgets, financial statements and reports, and strategic planning.
* Ability to balance the delivery of programs against the realities of a budget.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
* Enthusiasm and willingness to promote growth and expansion of low and no-cost healthcare
* Ability to effectively build organization and staff capacity.
* Must have the ability to develop a highly effective and dedicated workforce.
* Must have the ability to create protocols and streamline processes that ensure the organization
runs smoothly.
* Must demonstrate integrity and a commitment to excellence in her/his work
* Experience leading and inspiring others to new levels of effectiveness and operational impact.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of various practice management models, with the ability to creatively solve problems and develop practical solutions.
* Possess thorough understanding and broad experiences with the full range of business
functions and systems including: strategic development and planning, budgeting, business analysis, facilities management, finance, information systems, human resources, legal affairs, community development and outreach, and marketing.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other
agencies, and the public. Requirements : * Minimum five years of experience in a healthcare setting * Master’s degree in , Health Administration, Public Health or related field recommended (but not required) * Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED.
