About the Institution:AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is an established and exciting higher education partnership forged in 2017. The partnership has created the first UK University in the State of Qatar offering mainstream degrees outside of Qatar Foundation. We celebrated our first cohort of graduates in 2019 and have seen significant growth in student numbers. We are committed to supporting the Aberdeen 2040 agenda in addition to the Qatar National Vision 2030.With over 528 years of history, the ?ancient? University of Aberdeen is among the world?s leading higher educational institutions consistently ranked within the top 200 universities in the world, and in 2019 achieved Scottish University of the Year. With ambitious growth plans for the future, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is looking to recruit committed academic professionals who are seeking new opportunities within the international higher education sector.ÿCurrently there are over 600 students studying at our Qatar campus. To accommodate the growth in our ÿÿÿÿstudent numbers, plans are underway to build a new larger campus to be opened in 2025. This new campus will allow for further expansion in student numbers, degree offerings and research.
