Job Description and Requirements
Roles & responsibilities:
Providing prevention and intervention in the form of counseling sessions as well as offering social emotional leaning classes.
Offering timely, professional, and constructive follow up with students, parents, and teachers.
Maintaining confidentiality of students and student issues within the confines of the school policy and procedures.
Refering students to external professionals when needed, and coordinate with them as required.
Contributing to creation, dissemination, and data gathering of surveys within the schools.
Attending and contribute to school programs and activities.
Monitoring student behavioral and academic performance.
Any other duties as assigned.
Job requirements:
University degree in Counseling, Preventive Mental Health, or Social Work, or Clinical Psychology.
Basic counseling and therapy skills is a plus.
2 or more years of experience.
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic is essential.
Strong service orientation, flexibility and understanding of different school stakeholders needs.

Ability to build trust and promote positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues’.
Pursuing innovation and excellence, and acting as a role model and leading by example.
Ability to prepare reports and deliver oral presentations.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with teachers at all levels in a multicultural environment.
