Join us and lets get started. AECOM Arabia are currently seeking an experienced Program Controls Manager to join our team. The Program Controls Manager is responsible for leading and managing the program controls functions, including cost control, scheduling, risk management, and performance measurement. This includes collaboration with project managers, Stakeholders, and external partners to establish and implement project controls processes, tools, and practices. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive program controls frameworks, methodologies, and procedures for the program, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and project management standards.Lead and manage a team of program controls professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the teams effectiveness and growth.Collaborate with program/project managers and stakeholders to develop program control plans, including cost control plans, schedules, risk management plans, and performance measurement baselines.Monitor and control program costs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to budgetary constraints. Conduct cost variance analysis, identify deviations from planned budgets, investigate causes, and recommend corrective actions.Develop and maintain program/project schedules, including work breakdown structures (WBS) and critical path analyses, to effectively plan, sequence, and coordinate project activities.Implement risk management processes and tools to identify, assess, and mitigate program risks. Monitor risk mitigation strategies and escalate critical risks to project managers and senior management.Establish program performance measurement metrics, such as earned value management (EVM), and track program progress and performance against baselines. Provide regular performance reports to project managers, senior management, and stakeholders.Collaborate with program teams to assess the impact of changes, manage change orders, and update project control plans and baselines as needed.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards related to program controls, data management, and reporting.Continuously improve program controls processes and tools, incorporating industry best practices and lessons learned from previous projects within the program.QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in program controls, preferably within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of program controls methodologies, processes, and best practices.Experience in managing program and project controls functions and leading cross-functional teams.Proficiency in program controls software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost estimating software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate program risks and variances.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.Additional InformationPLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS BASED IN A REMOTE LOCATIONWith infrastructure investment accelerating worldwide, our services are in great demand, and theres never been a better time to be at AECOM!
