We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales activities, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to our success in delivering outstanding service and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist customers in finding the right products based on their needs and preferences.
Provide product information, demonstrations, and advice to customers.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Maintain a neat and organized sales floor, ensuring product availability and attractive merchandise displays.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishing stock as needed.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
Proactively upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers.
Candidate Requirement
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus.
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist and satisfy customers.
Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
