Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Logistics Manager .You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations within the organization, with a primary focus on optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.The role involves developing and implementing logistics strategies, managing inventory, negotiating contracts, and leading a team of logistics professionals. By coordinating transportation, storage, and distribution activities, the Logistics Manager plays a vital role in maintaining seamless supply chain operations and meeting customer requirements.Responsibilities:Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation.Direct, optimize and coordinate the internal and external full orders cycle.Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.Keep Track of the rejected orders release and stock blocking.Develop damage control plans/ processes to keep it within the acceptable range.Resolve any arising problems or complaints.Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.Participate in the departmental budget and make sure it won?t be exceeded.Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.Conduct the annual appraisal of his subordinates according to their KPIs fulfilment.Develop contingency plans to make sure nothing would affect the operations.Plan the cyclical counts and assign the team to make sure of its fulfilment in timely manner.Ensure that the regular housekeeping plans are been followed along with the binsutilization.Develop new put away strategies to reduce the travel time during picking.Participate in the expansion plans by advising a proper WH specifications, racking systems, flooring and MHEs.Participate in SOPs creation and make sure all the company policies and processes are been followed correctly.
