Description:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. They will be tasked with managing all social media channels, campaigns, team members, and content to sustain an engaging audience experience and increase audience satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for each social media platform.
Manage and oversee all social media content, ensuring it aligns with the overall branding and marketing strategy.
Measure the success of each social media campaign through regular monitoring and reporting.
Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to ensure brand consistency and timely promotion of products or services.
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization strategies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends.
Provide training and guidance to the social media team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Experience with creating a social media strategy, content marketing, and social media metrics.
Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices.
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Experience with doing audience research and customer service.
Familiarity with web design and publishing.
Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple social channels at once.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and must be a confident communicator and presenter.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
Social Media Marketing certification.
Knowledge of graphic design principles and tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with social media management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
Understanding of content management systems (CMS).
Knowledge of online marketing channels and lead generation.
