Description:
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and managing the visual identity of our brands, ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing materials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts, design solutions, and execute projects that deliver on business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure high-quality design output. This includes creating and managing the team’s schedules, assigning projects, and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met.
Develop and maintain the visual identity and style guides for multiple brands, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand brand objectives, creating brand guidelines and templates, and overseeing the execution of brand campaigns and assets.
Conceptualise and design creative solutions for print, digital, and social media channels. This includes developing creative briefs, creating mood boards, and producing high-quality design work that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, and develop creative solutions that meet those objectives. This includes collaborating with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and user needs.
Manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are executed at a high level. This includes overseeing the design team’s project management process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget, and identifying areas for process improvement.
Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and technologies to ensure our designs are innovative and effective. This includes conducting research and attending industry events to stay current on best practices, design trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
At least 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of design work across multiple channels and industries
At least 1 year of experience leading a design team, with a track record of successfully mentoring and developing junior designers
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and video editing software
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience in branding, visual identity, and style guide development
Experience with UX/UI design and web design is a plus
Excellent copywriting abilities
