1. Develop and execute business plans across the logistics verticals – freight forwarding, warehousing & supply chain and contract logistics.
2. Support in the planning & feasibility studies for the logistics business expansion across the region
3. Support developing strategy seeking new business opportunities across dentified commodity verticals and trade lanes for all logistics businesses.
4. Drives all activities relating to the planning cycle of logistics businesses & commercial sales marketing plans
5. Own, develops and monitors the commercial pipeline across all sales channels, ensuring pipelines materialize as per the forecasted timelines
6. Evaluate key client Customer P&L & growth plans.
7. Analyze business client/job margins – volume, price across assets/services – identifying issues & yield management.
8. Aid with modelling and scenario testing for new products and business opportunities.
9. Work Closely with Sales Team to support sales planning & analysis.
10. Help establish/streamline policies and procedures throughout the departments within the region, support best practices in sales forecasting, reporting, and communications.
11. Own the volume & revenue budget process across the logistics business.
12. Responsible to ensure alignment between budgets & business plans and execution thereof.
13. Monitors process effectiveness and effeciency against goals and objectives
14. Maintains a Performance management unit across all logistics businesses to capture both individual and team/business unit perfromance
15. Monitor and track performance, highlighting opportunities and areas of concern in a timely manner for actions to be worked to address.
16. Work with relevant business heads on specific projects/deep dives and ensure follow through provide timely updates on issues/projects
17. Together with the BI team, compile & provide trends, insights on market & logistics opportunities across the region for leading commodities
18. Liaise with BI to develop dashboards for creating visibility for performance management across logistics businesses
19. Drive CRM usage across logistics teams ensuring data integrity, data quality and efficient processes.
20. Monitor hygiene process KPIs for CRM usage
