Description:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager that will lead and execute our market adoption strategies and pave ways towards new opportunities. The team member would also be responsible to build out the department and their team, setting targets, and working towards productization and service enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities, use business insights and analytics to design and execute adoption strategies
Identify and build the pipeline of target market clients through market research, referrals and market knowledge within the e-commerce industry
Arrange business meetings with prospects and lead on the process all the way through contract signing and achieving sales targets
Managing relationships with clients and ensuring seamless end-to-end integration of their e-commerce business with our WMS
Developing lead filtration mechanisms and processes
Work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless client onboarding experience in support of client’s specific integration needs
Regularly present or consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing or introduction of new value added services
Working with the Business Development team to move leads through the conversion cycle
Build out KYC processes for prospective clients and ensure extensive focus is given to onboarding the right customers
Build social media presence for the organization and establish Subject Matter Expertise
Actively identify areas of improvement in existing processes
Updating CRM on a daily basis with activities and account updates
Ideal candidate:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration, Marketing or related field
Previous experience in e-commerce in sales, business development and account management
Ability to build rapport with potential customers
Someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Confident, Self-motivated, Energetic and Proactive
Excellent spoken and written command over the English language – additional language(s) would be a plus
Excellent communication and time management skills
