Job brief:
Our client is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to ensure the supply chain and logistics operations function properly. In this role, the candidate will collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to create effective business plans, so teamwork skills are important. The candidate should also have experience in project management, data analysis as well as great leadership and communication abilities. The candidate will also be responsible for managing a team of 7, and will be reporting to CEO and Chairman.
Responsibilities:
Create the supply chain strategy for the company
Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
Evaluate and report on KPIs
Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
Maintain supply chain inventory and records
Train and guide employees
Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
Working experience of relevant software (ERP next)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills

University Degree BA in supply chain management or Business Management
Experience 9-15 years of which at least 5 in supply chain
Experience in IT and Low current (system integration) products is a plus
Tasks by frequency:
Daily:
– Manage list of pending materials to be purchased.
– Manage list of materials to be delivered to site.
– Manage delivery schedule of materials for each project.
Weekly:
– Manage payment request to suppliers.
– Manage stock balance.
– Manage Delivery notes acknowledgment from site team.
Monthly:
– Domestic transportation cost matrix per project.
Key Performance Indicators:
– Cost optimization.
– Time optimization.
– Delivery optimization.
– Stock optimization (Use of old stock materials).
