A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
●Assists in unloading materials, supplies, delivery items
●Inspects items, as to quality and quantity, against freight documents
●Opens, timestamps, separates, and distributes or store
●Counts, weighs, and measures goods received or issued
●Ensures that all incoming and outgoing goods are supported by properly authorized documents such as Receiving Records and Requisitions
●Stocks materials according to a prescribed inventory system
●Monitors expiry dates of stocks and ensures that all goods are used prior to their expiry date. Ensure that all goods without expiry date are strictly issued on a First-In- First-Out basis
●Participates in periodic physical inventories by counting stock
What We need from you:
● Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting or Finance
● Or three years in hotel storekeeping or/and inventory management
● Must have knowledge and experience in storekeeping practices
● Must have knowledge in basic bookkeeping
●Must have good physical stamina to lift and handle goods and supplies
●Competent Oral and Written English Communication Skills
