Company DescriptionBuilt Contracting CompanyRole DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Senior Procurement Specialist. The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead procurement activities, including identifying suppliers, conducting market research, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships. The Senior Procurement Specialist will work with various teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery, manage procurement schedules, and monitor procurement performance.Qualifications-Responsible to manage the site Packages & RFQs with the Companys regulations & policies. – Determine the lowest cost for products/materials & services. – Receive orders and document arrivals. Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs. – Communicate with vendors, clients, team, and managers to align goals.- Plan and lead contract negotiations in the site and review of supply/service arrangements. – Ensure contract coverage is as wide as possible across the Trust to ensure maximum uptake / compliance along with standardization to minimize price variation. – Prepare bid solicitations based on pre-qualification and assessment criteria for vendor selection.- Prepare vendor category and spend analysis reports. Review and shortlist bid submissions. – Manage non-conformities in delivery schedules and products.- Resolve purchasing and contracting related problems, questions and complaints; provide assistance, advise, and coordinate activities related to site.-Working with the Procurement Manager & Deputy to deliver Procurement plan & Procurement Strategy & report.- Working to submit weekly & monthly reports to Procurement Manager & Deputy. – Maintain and update files, records, certificates, and or / the documents as required.Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldAt least 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a construction or engineering environmentDemonstrable knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiationExcellent communication and negotiation skillsExperience working with cross-functional teams and managing procurement schedulesAbility to analyze and interpret complex information, and make sound procurement decisionsKnowledge of international procurement laws and regulations preferred
