Summary:
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing training programs that help employees in the hospitality industry to acquire and develop the skills and knowledge they need to be successful. This includes assessing training needs, designing and delivering training programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of training.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular needs assessments to identify training needs for employees in all areas of the hospitality industry.
Design and deliver training programs that meet the identified training needs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that training programs are aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain relationships with training vendors and partners.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, or a related field.
experience in learning and development, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience with a variety of training methods, including classroom instruction, online learning, and blended learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
