The Emirates Group Hiring for Crew Scheduling Officer Job at Dubai Full Time

Job Purpose: JOB PURPOSE To fully assist Crew Scheduling Superintendents in managing published flight crew and cabin crew rosters within the scope of day-of-operations for Dubai and outstations. Ensure the right crew complement of flight crew and cabin crew on each flight, within defined time limitations Strive to achieve the highest level of productivity and resource optimisation, without compromising on quality of the operation. – Coordinate with the Crew Scheduling team on the shift to ensure that all relevant information is available for operational decisions. Provide feedback and recommendations to ensure effective recovery of operations. – Handle roster amendments on the day of operation caused by crew sickness or any other changes requested by Fleet Management, Service Delivery or Emirates clinic. – Responsible for the required Cabin Crew complement on each flight to ensure adherence to company policy. Ensure accurate reports are shared with the relevant outstations for their acceptance prior to departure – Highlight any abnormalities within day of operation scope to Crew Scheduling Superintendent on duty, including but not limited to any ad-hoc aircraft changes to ensure the correct flight and cabin crew complement on the affected flight. Proactively communicate changes of assigned duties to flight and cabin crew. – When assigning flight and cabin crew from standby, ensure all assignments are in line with GCAA legalities and company requirements. – Responsible for flight crew training recovery outside of office hours to minimize disruptions to published roster.

Qualifications & Experience: Qualification: 12 years schooling or equivalent Experience: 5+ years Operations/Scheduling Knowledge/skills: Relevant experience within an operational environment, preferably airline operations.
