Sales Consultant ( Part time )

The USAID-funded Water Efficiency and Conservation Activity (WEC) project, implemented by Tetra Tech  is currently accepting applications  for a short-term sales consultant to provide sales support to expand sales of household water saving devices through an already established retailer network in Amman and other centers.

Position Description/Summary:

The goal of this assignment is to support increased retail sales  of water saving technologies  (WST) within the municipal sector. Such devices include water saving aerators, water efficient toilets, water efficient showerheads, and water efficient garden and toilet hoses. This position is part time and for a period of six months based in Amman with the possibility of moving to other governorates in Jordan.

Responsibilities:

• Work with an existing retailer sales network of shops and retail outlets to provide sales support to increase their sales of water saving devices
• Support retailer outlets to develop sales plans
• Submitting monthly sales reports and verification documents.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with less than 3 years of relevant experience, or
• Diploma certificate or higher in water and environmental studies, sales, business administration, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in sales or sales management, ideally within the water-saving devices sector. Experience in motivating and supporting retailers and sales agents to drive sales is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in managing sales with retailers, agents, and sales outlets.
• Holder of a valid driver’s license and car owner preferred.
• Fluent in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.

The anticipated daily rate for this position is JD 50, transportation costs will be covered separately. The total expected level of effort (LOE) for this assignment is 90 days, spread over a 6-month period.
