The Clinical Nurse – Care Coordinator provides patient and family centered care support services to children and families. The primary focus of the Clinical Nurse – Care Coordinator is to use a collaborative process of assessment, planning, education, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy to meet an individual’s and family’s comprehensive health needs through hands on care and proper communication. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective direct care. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care to include patients and families. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard, aligned to Sidra Standards of Practice. The Clinical Nurse participates in the supervision, orientation and training of staff and is responsible for education of patients, families and students. The Clinical Nurse is professionally accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Executive Assistant provides administrative support in a high level executive management environment, assisting the Chief. The Executive Assistant is a key liaison position providing a range of communications services with Senior Management and external stakeholders. This level of organizational support involves facilitating positive working relationships in the delivery of these important administrative tasks and services. The Technician – Occupational Therapy, under the supervision of clinical staff, assists in direct and indirect patient related activities as delegated. As an active member of the occupational therapy team, the Occupational Therapy Assistant supports clinical staff with administrative duties, equipment and resource preparation, carrying treatment plans established by the licensed clinical occupational therapist, incorporating principles of family-centered care. The role holder is responsible for preparing materials and ensuring clinical areas are clean, safe and ready for patient care. This includes performing routine maintenance on clinical equipment, stock and equipment management and monitoring of OT wheelchair and minor equipment loans. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director – Nursing (Education Professional Practice and Standards) is responsible for providing professional nursing and managerial leadership to all elements of the corporate nursing portfolio this includes nursing and midwifery education, practice standards, nursing workforce, nursing accreditation and patient and family education. The Physician – Allergy and Immunology is responsible for the delivery of high quality evidence-based care; effective and efficient diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the role holder’s care. The Physician – Allergy and Immunology makes recommendations, orders appropriate therapeutics and diagnostics as per the patient’s diagnosed condition. The Physician – Allergy and Immunology is also responsible for providing guidance to less experienced colleagues. Highly Specialist Pediatric Physiotherapist (Physical Therapist II) We are looking for an experienced pediatric physiotherapist to join our Physical Therapy service. This is a lead role in acute inpatient pediatric neuro-rehabilitation and developmental assessment and intervention. The successful candidate will have current experience working within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and/or inpatient trauma ward, with demonstrated experience in infant and children’s normal and abnormal development and rehabilitation following acute injury. Evidence of experience in developing and leading a specialist area of physiotherapy is highly desirable.
