Position Summary:
This position will have responsibility for managing the direct gas engine sales and services in the specified region.
Typical Duties/Essential Job Functions:
The Regional Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for and have complete familiarity with the following:
Gas compression and oil field power generation engine sales through established Channels Key relationship contact with End User (customers) and also with OEM (Packagers) and Distributors Ongoing support to territory End Users of Waukesha Engine products Key resource for information and assistance to End Users, Packagers and Distributor regional office associates Ability to influence purchase decisions at all levels of End User organizations and Design Institutes Conduct frequent product presentations at End Users, Design Institutes and update OEM’s as required Provide project tracking information to Waukesha Engine manufacturing associates to accurately forecast plant production capacity Utilize company resources as appropriate to maintain seamless customer support Assist in development and participation of regional trade shows Maintain contacts with territorial Oil & Gas companies to understand project requirements and provide information on engine technology, sizing and applications Lead sales strategy and execution for multi-bidder projects including local and foreign packagers
Requirements:
Education and Experience Qualifications:
· BS degree in business administrationmarketingEngineering is preferred
· Minimum of 5 -10 years’ proven experience in Natural Gas engine application in Oil and Gas Market is highly preferred.
· Thorough knowledge of the Gas Compression and Oil Field generation market is required.
· Proven experience in successfully selling gas engine and components to Oil & Gas companies /Packagers and Distributors is also required.
· Prior and/or current engine sales experience is highly desirable
· Proven success in developing markets is required
· Experience in utilizing a personal computer for day to day business correspondence

This individual will possess above average intelligence, be team oriented, and enjoy working in a hands-on, fast-paced challenging environment. The Sales Manager will have excellent written and verbal English skills, other language capabilities is highly desirable The successful candidate will possess excellent administrative, strategic planning, leadership, and participative management skills. Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory to visit/meet with all levels of End-User personnel including remote field locations. Self-starter and motivated person capable of working from remote location office if needed
