About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Officer to join our Qatar Airways Group Medical Division in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing stock purchase orders, receiving, storing, and issuing goods. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and identifying discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
- Develop and implement an inventory management strategy to optimize budget.
- Coordinate with suppliers and prepare documents for procuring medications and medical items.
- Receive and dispatch stock to different stores.
- Prepare reports on inventory adjustments.
- Organize and control purchasing department records and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Provide routine data management regarding inventory performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of four years’ experience as a stock controller or similar role.
- Experience in importing (preferable).
- Supply chain management certification (preferable).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
