Job Description : Company Our client is founded by the Saudi government to bring all communities together and develop all sectors and fields with innovative solutions. The organization generates over $24 million in sales and has over 850 companies and 700 employees. They are currently looking for a Policy and Regulations Strategist to be based in Saudi Arabia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Understands company’s Hydrogen and Green Fuels strategies and interpret them to develop regulations framework and policies that enable delivery of first-of-a-kind projects, ease of bankability, minimizes costs, spans value chain, flexibility of ambition, and ease of implementation.
Deliver excellent policy analysis, scenario planning, political and economic analysis, and risk assessments as inputs to bespoke regulations that support strategic hydrogen business opportunities in company.
Work with the legal team and external law firms to deliver projects to strict deadlines.
Prepare and deliver research inputs including literature reviews, benchmarking, interpretation, analysis and presentations.
Maintain effective relationships across the Energy & Water teams and other departments.
Qualification & Requirements:
Graduate/Post-Graduate in Social Sciences, Economics, Government Affairs, Public Policy or International Relations
Three to four years previous experience in a role related to policy or economic analysis
Ability to conduct literature reviews and other background research, organize and analyze data, and write up findings clearly and concisely
A strong understanding of public policy and macroeconomic concepts and familiarity with legislative/regulatory concepts
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel excellent communication skills
Excellent written and spoken English
An ability to produce highly professional, interesting and attractive PPT slide decks for proposals and as client deliverables
