General Manager – MarineWe have an interesting job opportunity with one of our offshore vessel and marine clients, who are looking for an experienced, General Manager, (Marine) with the ship management and offshore vessel industry, who has a proven track record in Commercial chartered parties, Marine, Insurance, P&A, including extensive knowledge about maritime regulations.Required Profile:* 15+ years previous sailing experience (including offshore supply tankers). During this time you will have had experience as a Master Mariner or Chief* Must have experience dealing with a fleet of offshore supply tankers.* 5+ years in an onshore, managerial capacity within ship management* Extensive knowledge of Maritime Regulations around the Middle East region (and beyond)* Proven and demonstrable experience in Commercial chartered parties, Marine, Insurance P&AEducation: Master Marine or Chief Engineer or similar Marine educationKey Tasks:* Overall responsibility for the company Vessels operations and Safety Management System.* Strengthen current owner and charterer loyalty by enhancing the service provided, develop new business with both current and potential customers.* Producing and presenting budgets, forecasts and plans.* Handling marine casualties; collaboration with ship for data preservation and liaising with underwriters and/or P&I club for survey and/or assistance and provision of undertaking to free vessel.* Overseeing ship registration and incorporating company for ship-owing purpose.Language: Excellent English language skills both verbal and writtenSalary Estimated: Competitive To find out more about Progressive Recruitment, please visit www.progressiverecruitment.comAward winner of:KSA Recruitment Company of the Year, Best Executive Search Firm of the Year by TALint Recruitment Awards 2019/2020 | Best Engineering Recruitment Firm of the Year by Recruitment International Awards 2018
